This offroad adventure offers motorcyclists a scenic and dirt road experience. Choose your preferred bike, and a skilled mechanic is available for breakdowns. Passes like Shinkula and Singela provide challenging terrain, making this route ideal for off-road enthusiasts. The 10-day tour covers difficult, medium, and easy terrains, with a backup vehicle for support. The Padum route descends from Singe-la to Nyerak village, offering picturesque landscapes of Zanskar and views of the Trans-Himalayan mountain range. Customise the trip for private or shared groups, and choose to rent a bike in Ladakh or bring your own. Due to snowfall, the Kargil road is open for only six months, making this the perfect time to explore the unspoiled beauty of Zanskar.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival and Acclimatization in Leh

Difficulty: Easy, Altitude Gain: 3500m

Highlights: Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace

Arrival at Leh airport, transfer to the hotel.
Acclimatisation day, stay hydrated, and avoid strenuous activities.
Evening visit to Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa, explore the local bazaar.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2 – Leh to Lamayuru | Sangam Point | Hall of Fame

Difficulty: Easy ,Altitude Gain: 10m, Duration: Approx. 4 hours

Highlights: Moonland view, Lamayuru Monastery

Visit the Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, and the deserted area of Taru Thang.
Enjoy the Moonland view of Lamayuru and visit the Village Monastery.
Overnight stay at Lamayuru.

Day 3 – Lamayuru to Padum (Zanskar) via Warila | Sir Sir-La | Singe-La

Difficulty: Difficult, Altitude Gain: 180m, Duration:Approx. 8 hours

Highlights: Offroad, Zanskar River, picturesque landscape

Ride through Wanla village, Photoksar, and reach Singe-La pass.
Enter Zanskar through Nyerak village, enjoy offbeat tracks.

Day 4: Local Padum

Day 5 – Padum to Prune (Phuktal Monastery Trek) Shinkula Pass (16580 ft)

Difficulty: Easy, Altitude Gain: 200m Duration: Approx. 3 hours

Highlights: Offroad, Gombo Rangjun, Shinku-La pass

Ride to Prune, trek to Phuktal Monastery, and experience the sacred Gombo Rangjun mountain.
Trek back to Prune camp, enjoy the silence of the valley.
Overnight stay at Purne Campsite.

Day 6 – Purne to Sarchu | Gombo Rangjon | Shinku-La (16580ft)

Difficulty: Moderate,Altitude Gain: 450m Duration:Approx. 7 hours

Highlights: Gombo Rangjon, Shinkula pass, Baralacha-la pass

Ride to Sarchu, witness the sacred Gombo Rangjun mountain.
Cross Shinku-La pass and join Leh-Manali highway at Darcha.
Overnight stay at Sarchu.

Day 7 – Sarchu to Leh

Difficulty: Difficult,Altitude Gain: 0m,Duration:Approx 7 hours

After breakfast, we kick off our journey to Leh with a hotel stop.
Get ready for an exciting day filled with adventure and vibrant scenery.
Encounter the famous Gata Loops, featuring 22 hairpin bends that add to the thrill.
Traverse through challenging mountain passes like Naki-La (16,000 ft) and Lachung-La (16,053 ft).
Enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of More Plains and Tanglang La pass (17,480 feet), the world’s second-highest motorable pass.
By evening, we’ll arrive in Leh, allowing you to explore the local market.
Rest for the night at a Leh hotel, soaking in the day’s memorable experiences.

Day 8 – Departure

Transfer to the airport for the flight back home.

T&C & Cancellation Policy

Booking Information:

To reserve a slot, pay 2500 per person when booking the trip
Balance payment need to pay 30 days before the tour starts
Endeavour Ladakh is not responsible for roadblocks, flight cancellations, or unforeseen situations
For children aged 5-8 yrs, it’s 30% of the total cost (without bed)
Children above 8 yrs are considered adults (extra mattress provided)

Cancellation Policy:

For the cancellation of services for any reason, Endeavour Ladakh must be notified in writing at endeavour.ladakh@gmail.com. At the time we receive your written cancellation, refunds based on the total fare are as follows:
- 30+ Days Before Departure: 50% of the total cost refunded.
- 15-29 Days Before Departure: 20% of the total cost refunded.
- 7-14 Days Before Departure: 10% of the total cost refunded.
- Within 7 Days: No refund.
- No show due to Fight cancellations: No refunds.
- Note: The booking amount paid for confirmation is non-refundable for all trips.
Cancellation Policy by Endeavour Ladakh
- If the minimum requirement of 7 participants is unmet, or due to other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In such instances, a full refund will be issued.

Rescheduling Policy (Fixed Departure & Private Trips)

More Than 30 Days Before Travel: One-time rescheduling is complimentary.
Within 15 Days: Changes are subject to availability and will incur a rescheduling fee, which includes hotel and transporter charges, as well as an administrative fee of INR 2000.

Force Majeure & Circumstances Beyond Our Control

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the tour due to uncontrollable events like natural disasters, political unrest, or war, etc. No compensation for financial loss will be provided. If high passes are inaccessible due to snowfall or floods, bike transportation may be arranged at an extra cost to the guest.
Flight cancellation: Endeavour Ladakh is not responsible for any flight cancellations.

Child Policy

Children under 5 years: Complimentary.
Children aged 5-8 years: 30% of the package cost per person.
Children above 8 years: Considered as an extra bed.
Children above 12 years: Considered an adult.

Refund Process

The refund amount will be processed within 5 business days.
All applicable refunds will be done via Bank Transfer to the traveller’s account only.

Confirmation Policy:

Payments can be done in 3 parts:

After processing the booking amount, you will receive an email confirmation.
Once you have paid the 100% amount for your booking, you will receive an invoice containing all the information about the trip.

Payment Terms:

Booking amount: 2500/- (Non-Refundable and Non-Adjustable)
40 days before the trip departure: 60% of the total cost is due.
30 days before the trip departure: 100% of the total cost is due.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to safeguard your trip against unforeseen cancellations or emergencies.
