Customers must have a valid driving licence to rent a motorbike.
Rates are set by Ladakh Bike Co-operative Limited (LBCL). Any agency renting bikes below the specified rates will be fined INR 5000.
No assurance of insurance or other claims if the bike is rented below the Association rate list.
Half-day rent starts from 2 pm onwards.
LBCL prohibits outsiders from using rental bikes for sightseeing in Ladakh, except on highways during hotel check-ins and check-outs.
