Endeavour Ladakh: General Policies for Bike Fixed Departure

Booking and Group Requirements

  • Check-in Time: Check-in is scheduled for noon. Early arrivals may check in, subject to room availability.
  • Minimum Group Size: A group must consist of at least 7 riders for the tour to proceed. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if this number is not met, in which case a full refund will be issued.
  • Changes in Itinerary: The itinerary may change due to traffic conditions, road restrictions, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Additional Costs: Any extra charges resulting from adverse weather conditions, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control (such as hotel stays, meals, transportation) will be billed to the participants.

Rider Responsibilities

  • Leaving the Group: Participants who choose to leave the group mid-tour will be responsible for the cost of transporting their bikes to the tour endpoint.
  • Valid Documents: All riders must carry valid ID proof and a mandatory driving license.
  • Luggage Limit: Only backpacks are permitted with a maximum weight of 10 kg per person. Extra luggage will incur an additional fee of INR 400 per kg.
  • Liability for Damages: Participants will be directly responsible for any damages caused to other persons or properties during the tour.

Cancellation Policy

For the cancellation of services for any reason, Endeavour Ladakh must be notified in writing at endeavour.ladakh@gmail.com. At the time we receive your written cancellation, refunds based on the total fare are as follows:

  • 30+ Days Before Departure: 50% of the total cost refunded.
  • 15-29 Days Before Departure: 20% of the total cost refunded.
  • 7-14 Days Before Departure: 10% of the total cost refunded.
  • Within 7 Days: No refund.
  • No show due to Fight cancellations: No refunds.
  • Note: The booking amount paid for confirmation is non-refundable for all trips.

Cancellation Policy by Endeavour Ladakh

  • If the minimum requirement of 7 participants is unmet, or due to other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In such instances, a full refund will be issued.

Confirmation Policy

Payments can be done in 3 parts:

  • After processing the booking amount, you will receive an email confirmation.
  • Once you have paid the 100% amount for your booking, you will receive an invoice containing all the information about the trip.

Payment Terms

  • Booking amount: 2500/- (Non-Refundable and Non-Adjustable)
  • 40 days before the trip departure: 60% of the total cost is due.
  • 30 days before the trip departure: 100% of the total cost is due.

Refund Policy

  • The refund amount will be processed within 5 business days.
  • All applicable refunds will be done via Bank Transfer to the traveller’s account only.

General Package Conditions for All Tours

  • Changes to Itinerary: The tour itinerary may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
  • Exclusions: The package cost does not cover personal expenses such as laundry, phone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, tips, monument entry fees, etc.
  • Guest Identification: Guests must carry valid photo ID proof (e.g., Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card). PAN Cards are not accepted as valid IDs.
  • Safety: We prioritize your safety; however, in case of unforeseen accidents, Endeavour Ladakh will not be held responsible for injuries or loss of life.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Any disruptive behavior that affects other guests or staff will result in removal from the tour.
  • Must Carry: All guests must carry a valid photo ID (Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card) for check-in. PAN Cards are not accepted.

Rescheduling Policy (Fixed Departure & Private Trips)

  • More Than 30 Days Before Travel: One-time rescheduling is complimentary.
  • Within 15 Days: Changes are subject to availability and will incur a rescheduling fee, which includes hotel and transporter charges, as well as an administrative fee of INR 2000.

Force Majeure & Circumstances Beyond Our Control

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the tour due to uncontrollable events like natural disasters, political unrest, or war, etc. No compensation for financial loss will be provided. If high passes are inaccessible due to snowfall or floods, bike transportation may be arranged at an extra cost to the guest.
  • Flight cancellation: Endeavour Ladakh is not responsible for any flight cancellations.

Health and Safety Notice

  • Most tours take place in remote, high-altitude locations such as Ladakh, where there is an increased risk of altitude sickness and limited medical facilities. Participants should be aware of these risks and take necessary precautions

Child Policy

  • Children under 5 years: Complimentary.
  • Children aged 5-8 years: 30% of the package cost per person.
  • Children above 8 years: Considered as an extra bed.
  • Children above 12 years: Considered an adult.

Final Confirmation & Payment

  • Payment: Final confirmation will be provided upon receipt of the down payment.
  • Unused Services: Refunds or compensation will not be issued for any unused services or transportation.

Travel Insurance:

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to safeguard your trip against unforeseen cancellations or emergencies.

Additional Notes

  • Amendments to Policies: Endeavour Ladakh reserves the right to amend these policies based on seasonal requirements or changes in tour conditions.
  • Jurisdiction: Any disputes will be governed by the jurisdiction of Ladakh only.
